Literature Text

News spread across the kingdoms of the creatures of myth having treaded through the now snowy lands. Death has studied this species as a younger cub, and was always quite fond of them. There were many myths surrounding this creature of how unlucky they were, especially the white-colored mares. Every time he’s imagined being with the creature, he could only think of ending up dead due to his own bad luck. But who knows? Maybe a fortunate mare or stallion would take mercy on him and NOT end up in a bad situation.

At the break of dusk, he made his way across the phoenix path and toward the trading post, where the groups of felines and canines would be meeting up and herding these Capallsé away from the bitter cold kingdom and back to the anlark grounds. The very thought of those grounds got his blood bubbling with the urge to fight. He’s seen battles unfold there while he was training to be a guardian and participated in a few himself. Not official one’s though, more like general rough housing among the growing cats and dogs.

By the time he arrived, night had settled in. Only the street lanterns illuminated Death’s way toward the trading post where the group was going to meet to herd the Capallsé back to the anlark grounds. While the cold has never bothered Death, he brought a cloak with him just in case he got colder. He wore it on the way here and flipped the hood out of his face to see what awaits him at the trading post. It appears nobody was there, save for the middle aged feline behind the counter.

He looked up at Death, asking “So you’re part’a the group that’ll herd all these damned Capallsé outa here and back to where they should go, right?” Death’s ears folded to his skull at the remark the man made toward the Capallsé. Death ignored the rude statement and replied “Yes. I suppose I’m the first one here, eh?” he asked, trying to switch topics. It was pretty obvious, since the empty streets echoed with silence, filled with only the bitter slices of the winter wind.
Wrote up an event prompt, any OC from :iconby-lanterns-light: is allowed to join.

This is the RP where a group of felines and canines will be herding the Capallse back to the Anlark Grounds.

(I'll join in on this fun.  :3 Sorry I’m not entirely sure of where Death is.  ^^’)

Nitya ran her hand across the frozen ground with a smooth hand and shivered as the white snow touched her exposed pads on her fingers and palm.  A dim red glow from her heart stone casting an eerie light on the scene and ground in front of her.  The Galian Altari had started her long and cold walk to the trading post several days before after leaving Zale with another Altari back in her kingdom.  Since traveling two third the way across the kingdoms territories in three foot snow and freezing wind with a Heir to the High Council was such a blatantly bad choice that even Nitya couldn't plead ignorance to it.  Standing up straight and stretching her arms out above her head, Nitya let out a deep breath sending steamy fog into the freezing night air and starred down at the torn up ground in front of her and beneath her feet with dusty blue eyes before smirking to herself and turning around on her toes.

Picking up a brisk pace, the molly trotted back towards the edge of the town where several small groups of canines and felines where being gathered and split up among themselves into smaller scouting groups.  Walking over towards the lantern lit meeting area and jumped up on a fence, crossing her leg up over her other and massaging her freezing pads.  Flicking her ears over Nitya looked around the area taking in her surroundings quietly.  Waiting to see if anyone would come over and want to team up with the Altari Warrior.
